01 — CIO Advisory
Technology leadership, without the full-time CIO.
- FOR
- Executives, accounting officers and business owners who need confident technology decisions.
- ENGAGEMENT
- Monthly advisory retainer, fixed-scope assessment or programme-based engagement.

Business challenges
What usually brings organisations to us.
Technology spend without a plan
Purchases happen project by project, so budgets are reactive and hard to defend.
Too many vendors, too little leverage
Contracts, renewals and SLAs are scattered and nobody owns the relationship.
Governance gaps
Audit findings, unclear policies and unmanaged risk sit with people who have no time to fix them.
New systems, low adoption
Tools are licensed and deployed, but people don't use them well enough to see the benefit.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How is CIO Advisory different from a consulting project?
A project ends with a report. CIO Advisory is an ongoing relationship: the same advisor keeps your roadmap current, manages vendors with you and is accountable for moving decisions forward. A fixed-scope assessment is available if you want to start small.
Do you replace our internal IT team?
No. We work alongside your IT staff or service providers, giving them strategic direction and executive support. Where you have no internal IT, advisory can be combined with Managed IT.
Can you work within public-sector planning and procurement cycles?
Yes. We work with provincial departments and municipalities and structure plans, specifications and documentation to fit their budgeting and procurement processes.
Do you offer training?
Yes. Digital-adoption programmes include digital-transformation leadership workshops and practical Microsoft 365 training. In 2025 we trained 550 Northern Cape Department of Education principals, supervisors and support staff.
